My final degree show was an installation but since graduating in 2006 I have not had the opportunity to make any installations (mainly as I am a broke artist and figure I need to make a bit of a living selling prints and paintings and no one is likely to pay money for the greenhouse installation I made!)
Maybe sometime in the future i will get back to making installations in the mean time I must say thank you to Alecshao and Gaksdesigns for the many amazing installation posts they put up, that keep me inspired and day dream about the things i might create in the future!

Summer story fest book cover
I had the amazing opportunity of working with the BBC recently with their literacy project summer story fest in Newcastle.
Although it was a very windy day lots of families and kids groups turned out. The children wrote about things they loved or their favourite thing to do and I illustrated what they had written about using painted tissue paper.
Very impressed with the spelling and beautiful hand writing of the young children!
The book will be displayed in the Newcastle library, northern Ireland. Two other books, one in Bangor and one in Ballycastle were illustrated by Emma Majury.

This is so stunning! makes me think of the amazing flower market I went to in Amsterdam with my sister moons ago! Makes me want to get away again!
just discovered Instacanv.as and have set up my own gallery!
For a long time I thought there was a hound in the north down pack called Ebay but I later found out the whipper-ins were saying “leave it” here is a new hound painting for the Irish game fair at shanes castle this weekend, not long left to finish off some paintings I’m working on!
